Convention off to dry and bright start

In spite of weather warnings across the country the 2012 Keswick Convention has got off to a great start with large numbers, and sunshine!
Operations Manager Simon Overend said “Having prayed for an improvement in the weather last week, we were blessed with fine weather during set-up which was a blessing to us and especially to campers. We never know how many to expect on the first night, but were thrilled that the tent was close to capacity. Clearly even in these challenging economic times people still value all that the Convention programme has to offer.
A full programme is underway with a children’s and youth programme, plus in this first week Abide for 19-24 year olds. More information about the programme is available here.
