Steve Gaukroger

Stephen Gaukroger is regarded as one of the most significant leaders of his generation in the UK. With his very firm & clear grasp of the post-modern culture in which we now live, he addresses its challenge with an unquestioned commitment to Scripture.  He is now the founder-director of Clarion Trust International, an organisation which exists to equip the church for leadership, mission & evangelism.  He is married to Janet, who is very involved with leading worship & training worship teams and also enjoys bible teaching. They have three children & two grandchildren. He loves sport of all kinds.

Paul Williams

Paul Williams is the Vicar of Christ Church Fulwood in Sheffield.  Before training for the ordained ministry he worked in a bank and then the newspaper industry.  He is married to Caroline and they have three children - twins Susannah and Bethan, aged 13, and Joshua, aged 10.  Paul loves walking, skiing, tennis and trips to the cinema and tries to keep fit by running a couple of times a week.

Mike Hill

Mike Hill has been the Bishop of Bristol since 2003.  He became a Christian at the age of 18 and, after a short career in the printing industry, he was ordained in 1977 and served in parish ministry.  As Bishop of Bristol, he has held a number of national responsibilities within the Church of England.  He is passionate about Christian leadership and is a sought after speaker and teacher in the UK and internationally.  He has been married to Anthea for forty years and they have five adult children and five grandchildren.  He loves sport and music; he is a lifelong fan of Manchester United and a keen guitarist.

Mike Reeves

Mike Reeves is the Head of Theology for UCCF.  He was formerly an associate minister at All Souls Church, Langham Place, London, and holds a doctorate in systematic theology from King’s College London. He has written a number of books, including The Good God: Enjoying Father, Son and Spirit and The Unquenchable Flame: Introducing the Reformation. He is married to Bethan, and together they have two daughters.

Lyndon Bowring

Lyndon Bowring is Chairman of CARE, a well-established mainstream Christian charity providing resources and helping to bring Christian insight and experience to matters of public policy and practical caring initiatives. CARE is represented in the UK Parliaments and Assemblies, at the EU in Brussels and the UN in Geneva and New York.  Lyndon was born in South Wales, studied at the London Bible College (now London School of Theology) and is an ordained Elim minister, now based in an advisory capacity at Kensington Temple.  He is a member of the Evangelical Alliance Council and is a well-known speaker at many Christian events and churches; he is also involved with several accountability groups of church leaders.   Lyndon is married to Celia, they live in London and have three grown up children.  His hobbies include cooking, exploring London and watching rugby!

Viv Thomas

Viv Thomas is the founder of Formation, helping people to flourish into their full potential. Viv has a national and international speaking and teaching ministry. Leadership, Spirituality and Mission are particular passions.   Amongst other things, Viv is the Hon Teaching Pastor at St Paul’s Hammersmith.  He has written Future Leader, Second Choice, Paper Boys and The Spectacular Ordinary Life. He holds several degrees, including a Ph.D. from King’s College, London where his research focused on Christian leadership in relation to the Trinity. He loves many things, including football, theatre, walking beside the Thames and spending time with his wife.

Andrew BaughenAndrew Baughen studied business finance and worked as a strategy consultant. He now uses his strategy experience as Vicar of St James Clerkenwell - a ‘reboot' church in central London focused on creative ways of reaching people far from Christ. He is also a visiting lecturer at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford and chaplain at City University, London. He loves cycling, making short films and time with his wife Rachel and two daughters. He has written The Because Approach, Therefore Go and the Good to Go evangelism training course.

Evening Celebrations

The Transforming Trinity

Saturday - Friday
7.30pm - 9.00pm

The Evening Celebrations in the Main Tent at Skiddaw Street combine uplifting worship, drama, interviews, prayer and more inspirational teaching. A Crèche marquee on the same site is fully equipped with a live TV relay of the meeting and plenty of toys! Parents are responsible for their own children in this venue. The Kids Club (8-11s) and Youth programme (11-18s) have their own meetings to coincide with the Evening Celebrations.
